Several post medieval drainage ditches within fields to the southwest of Skinners Bottom, Hilton, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs (RAF 1947). The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. They are no longer visible on current lidar imagery.
