Summary

Fragments of a banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the east of Chescombe Lane, Milton Abbas. The features are considered to be of later prehistoric origin but some boundaries may have been reused in the medieval period; the features cover an area of over 39 ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
