Full Description
Two ditch-defined enclosures, and perhaps fragments of a third, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1995 in fields to the west of Chescombe Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. The enclosures are each approximately 40m across and cut by Chescombe Lane. The features are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman origin and are associated with the fragments of field system described in MDO50502, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
