Full Description
Fragments of a banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the north east of Winterborne Houghton village. It is uncertain if they relate to the shrunken medieval village, or of earlier later prehistoric origin. The features cover an area of 11 ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
