A circular hollow feature with a flanking curvilinear banked mound, is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The feature could possibly be a post medieval chalk pit and adjacent spoil heap and was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
