Summary

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on lidar imagery on the south-facing slope within Dunbury Leg woods, Winterborne Houghton. The feature is 23m across and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it is one of a group of potential barrow mounds situated between the 185m and 190m contours, the others being described in records MDO50442-5.

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on lidar imagery on the south-facing slope within Dunbury Leg woods, Winterborne Houghton. The feature is 23m across and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it is one of a group of potential barrow mounds situated between the 185m and 190m contours, the others being described in records MDO50442-5.
