A post medieval chalk pit is visible as a ditched earthwork to the southwest of Rawlsbury Camp, Hilton, on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded as an old chalk pit on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A post medieval chalk pit is visible as a ditched earthwork to the southwest of Rawlsbury Camp, Hilton, on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery (CCC undated; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The feature is recorded as an old chalk pit on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map (OS c1880). It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
