A possible post medieval chalk pit is visible as a shallow ditched earthwork to the southwest of Rawlsbury Farm, Hilton, on 1940s aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1945; EA 2018). The feature was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
