A probable post medieval chalk pit is visible as a ditched earthwork to the south of Ivers Wood, Woolland, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The feature is shown as an unnamed earthwork on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map (OS c1880). It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
