Summary
Fragments of an extensive banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within Milton Park Wood, Milton Abbas. The boundaries are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman origin and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. The system covers an area of over 50 ha and continues to the south into Cliff Wood described in MDO50404.

Fragments of an extensive banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within Milton Park Wood, Milton Abbas. The boundaries are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman origin and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. The system covers an area of over 50 ha and continues to the south into Cliff Wood described in MDO50404.
