Monument record MDO50396 - Possible post medieval flint pit, Woolland hill, Woolland

A post medieval extractive pit is visible as a shallow ditched earthwork on the southeast side of Woolland Hill, Woolland, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded as an old flint pit on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map and was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
