Full Description
A loose spread of post medieval extractive pits are visible as shallow ditched earthworks on the southwest end of Woolland Hill, Woolland, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features might be chalk pits of post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
