A post medieval chalk pit is visible as a ditched earthworkto the southwest of St Eustace's Church, Ibberton, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is shown as an old chalk pit on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
