A wide scatter of hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the west of Chescombe Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
