Five hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery scattered across two modern fields to the south of Dunbury Lane, Winterborne Houghton. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
