Part of a probable later prehistoric field system is visible as linear and curvilinear banked earthworks on Ibberton Long Down on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are of possible Iron Age to Roman date and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
