Monument record MDO5027 - Bowl barrow, Tarrant Keyneston

Bronze Age bowl barrow surviving as a low earthwork. In 1972 the RCHME reported that this monument was approximately 20 feet in diameter, with a mound standing some 2 feet high. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water. The feature is visible as a sub-oval mound on Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Two bowl barrows in Ashley Wood : 'A' 28 ft diameter by 3 ft high. 'B' 20 ft diameter by 2 ft high. <2>

The feature is visible as a sub-oval mound 15.9 by 13.9m on Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project [5].
