Two possible post medieval chalk pits are visible as irregular sub-linear ditched earthworks on Bell Hill, Okeford Fitzpaine, on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features flank a posible lynchet or field boundary of potentially later prehistoric to medieval origin (MDO49952) and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Two possible post medieval chalk pits are visible as irregular sub-linear ditched earthworks on Bell Hill, Okeford Fitzpaine, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features flank a posible lynchet or field boundary of potentially later prehistoric to medieval origin (MDO49952) and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
