An 'Old Flint Pit' is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st editon map to the northwest of Hilton Mill, Milton Abbas. The pit is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project, a second pit is visible immediately to the north.
