Monument record MDO50178 - Undated field system, Cheselbourne

Fragments of a banked field system are visible as cropmarks and low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Streetway Lane, Cheselbourne Manor. The boundaries may be of prehistoric origin with medieval reuse, they cover an area of over 34 ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. They are part of a wider system which extends to the south in MDO50179.
