The remains of a banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery (Environment Agency 2023) on the east end of Highdon, Melcombe Horsey. The features cover an area of over 6 hectares and are potentially of later prehistoric or medieval origin; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
