Summary

A series of trackways and field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Little Ansty, Hilton. They are considered to be of medieval or post medieval origin and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project; the site has since been plough-levelled.

Full Description

A series of trackways and field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Little Ansty, Hilton. They are considered to be of medieval or post medieval origin and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project; the site has since been plough-levelled.(RAF 1948, EA 2023).
