Summary

A series of bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields between Higher Ansty Farm and Pleck Farm. The features are considered likely to be the remains of medieval or post medieval field boundaries, possibly associated with a deserted settlement; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

A series of bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields between Higher Ansty Farm and Pleck Farm. The features are considered likely to be the remains of medieval or post medieval field boundaries, possibly associated with a deserted settlement; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
