Summary

The fragmentary remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the southwest of Moots Copse, Hilton. The features overlie a large hollow, possibly the result of natural slumping, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
