Full Description
Parallel linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the west of Pleck Lane, Little Ansty, Hilton. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation ridges and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. They are associated with ditched field boundaries which may be of medieval or post medieval origin.(RAF 1948, EA 2023).
