Full Description
A series of parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the to the east of Little Ansty, Hilton. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, they are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow and have since been levelled.(RAF 1948,EA 2023).
