Full Description
A small group of parallel banked boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Rawlesbuy House, Hilton. They appear to underlie the post medieval drainage system described in MDO50026 and are considered likely to be the remians of medieval strip fields. The features cover an area of just over 1 hectare and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2023)
