Full Description
Part of a possible Iron Age cross dyke on Shillingstone Hill is visible as a ditched and banked earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The feature comprises several broken section of linear ditch flanked on both sides at its northwest end by linear banks and is truncated by later trackways. It is located approximately 30m north of another cross dyke rcorded under MDO4679. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
