Summary
Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the south of Gallows Corner, Milton Abbas. They are of uncertain date but potentially of prehistoric origin. The features cover an area of over 23 hectares; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project and continue to the south in record MDO48638.

Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the south of Gallows Corner, Milton Abbas (EA 2023). They are of uncertain date but potentially of prehistoric origin. The features cover an area of over 23 hectares; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project and continue to the south in record MDO48638.
