A system of post medieval water meadows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Newton Farm, Hilton. The system of ditches covers an area of over 2.5ha and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (RAF 1947, EA 2023).
