A small area of parallel linear features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the north facing slope of Henning Hill, Melcombe Horsey. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation ridges and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A small area of parallel linear features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the north facing slope of Henning Hill, Melcombe Horsey. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation ridges and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
