Full Description
An extensive post medieval drainage system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Higher Ansty, Hilton. The bank and ditched features cover an area of over 43ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. Some of the linears may have an earlier medieval origin. (RAF 1947, EA 2023).
