Full Description
A series of parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the west of Cothayes Dairy, Hilton (RAF 1947). The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, they are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow although a post medieval date is possible, they have since been levelled.
