Summary

Sections of linear and curvilinear banked and ditched earthworks are visible to the east of Belchalwell Street, Okeford Fitzpaine, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be predominantly later prehistoric field boundaries, possibly including some field boundaries and/or trackways of later date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Sections of linear and curvilinear banked and ditched earthworks are visible to the east of Belchalwell Street, Okeford Fitzpaine, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are considered likely to be predominantly later prehistoric field boundaries, possibly including some field boundaries and/or trackways of later date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
