Summary

A series of interlinked and criss-crossing trackways on Okeford Hill, Okeford Fitzpaine, are visible as ditched and banked earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. They link into trackways shown on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map of c1880 and might be of later post medieval to 20th century date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A series of interlinked and criss-crossing trackways on Okeford Hill, Okeford Fitzpaine, are visible as ditched and banked earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; RAF 1947; EA 2018). They link into trackways shown on the OS Epoch 1 25 inch map of c1880 and might be of later post medieval to 20th century date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
