Summary
Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in close association with the possible cross dyke at Ruins Planation, Milton Abbas (MDO4472). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk) although an earlier origin is possible, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description
An extensive scatter of hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Ruins Planation, Milton Abbas and Hilton. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk) although an earlier origin is possible, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
