Full Description
Three small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery scattered across the medieval strip lynchets described in MDO3963. They appear to be cut into the cultivation ridges and are therefore considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk); they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
