Full Description
A large hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Little Down Plantation, Hilton. It is in close association with several smaller hollows; all are considered likely to be the result of post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
