Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slope to the south of Hawkes Field Farm, Hilton. They are considered likely to be associated with post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
