This round barrow, circa 23 metres in diameter and 3.2 metres high, is listed by Grinsell as Broadmayne 1 and by RCHME as Broadmayne 20. It has been severely damaged by quarrying. It is located at the northwestern end of the bank barrow. RCHME stated that it overlies the end of the bank barrow, although the Ordnance Survey (in 1979) stated that there was "no visual evidence that the mound overlies the bank barrow". <10
