Five hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within the same modern field to the east of Rawlsbury Farm, Hilton. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
