Summary

A cluster of five small mounds, close to the parish boundary, of unknown date and function, now destroyed. Formerly situated North-North-West of Pimperne Long Barrow. It has been suggested that, because of their small size and location, these may be round barrows of pagan Saxon origin.

Five very small barrows or mounds at ST 917106 are now levelled by ploughing but were formerly situated NNW of Pimperne Long Barrow (ST 91 SW 11). Their position, almost on the parish boundary with Pimperne, and their small size suggest that these earthworks may have been of Pagan Saxon origin. <2>
