An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map immediately to the north of the lane running east of Rawlbury Farm, Hilton. It is one of a number of hollows within the same modern field which are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map immediately to the north of the lane running east of Rawlbury Farm, Hilton (OS 1885). It is one of a number of hollows within the same modern field which are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
