An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Manor Farm, Hilton (OS 1885). It is one of a pair of extractive pits visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery which were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project (EA 2023).
