Full Description
Two Old Flint Pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map on the steep east-facing slope to the west of Hilton Bottom (OS 1885). They are part of a wider group of extractive hollows visible in the hanger woodland which were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
