Full Description
Four Flint Pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map on the higher slopes of Combe Hill, Hilton (OS 1885). They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and are part of a wider group of low hollows and general disturbance near the summit of the hill and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
