Summary
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the east-facing slope of Henning Hill to the north of Rosehill Dairy, Cheselbourne. It is one of a number of small hollows visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of the farm, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the east-facing slope of Henning Hill to the north of Rosehill Dairy, Cheselbourne (OS 1885). It is one of a number of small hollows visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of the farm, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
