Full Description
An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map near the summit of Henning Hill, Melcombe Horsey (OS 1885). It is one of a number of small hollows visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Hill Barn, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
