An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map near the summit of Henning Hill, Melcombe Horsey. It is one of a number of small hollows visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Hill Barn, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map near the summit of Henning Hill, Melcombe Horsey (OS 1885). It is one of a number of small hollows visible as as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Hill Barn, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.(EA 2023).
