An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the south-east facing ridge to the southeast of Nettlecombe Farm. It is one of a number of small pits visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the south-east facing ridge to the southeast of Nettlecombe Farm (OS 1885). It is one of a number of small pits visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity, and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
