An Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the steep west-facing hillslope to the south of Giant's Grave, Melcombe Horsey (OS 1885). It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023).
